Overturn — Terms of Use
Last updated: June 22, 2026
Overturn is a drafting and organizing aid — not legal, medical, or financial
advice. It helps you spot possible billing issues and draft an appeal letter
that you review, edit, and send. It does not file appeals, contact your insurer,
or guarantee any outcome. For advice about your specific situation, consult a qualified
professional.
What Overturn does and does not do
- It reads your documents on-device and surfaces possible issues to review —
these are not findings of fact or accusations of fraud.
- It drafts appeal letters from vetted templates using only the facts you provide.
- It does not provide legal, medical, or financial advice, assert
medical necessity on your behalf, file anything for you, or promise that an appeal
will succeed.
Your responsibilities
- Verify all deadlines, plan terms, codes, and amounts with your insurer and provider
before relying on anything in the app.
- Provide accurate information; do not submit anyone else's data without authorization.
- Have your treating provider supply any clinical justification — Overturn marks where
that is needed and never fabricates it.
Purchases
Capture and the on-device audit are free. Generating or exporting an appeal letter uses
a consumable "appeal credit", or is unlimited with the "Overturn Unlimited" auto-renewable
subscription ($7.99/month). Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24
hours before the period ends; manage or cancel anytime in your Apple account settings.
Payments are processed by Apple under their terms; credits are non-refundable except as
required by law or Apple's policies.
Disclaimer of warranties & limitation of liability
Overturn is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent
permitted by law, NYRAI LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential
damages, or for any decision an insurer makes on your claim. Your sole remedy for
dissatisfaction is to stop using the app.
